About MeHello, my name is Lisa. I am a Certificated Couples Therapist and UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I have an MSc in Integrative psychotherapy, which I gained at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute with Staffordshire university.
I offer individual psychotherapy, couples psychotherapy and clinical supervision in a warm, honest and non-judgmental environment. I believe I am easy to get along with and embrace difference. I understand difficulties in relationships, relationship breakdowns, difficulties in childhood, stress and financial challenges, and have had much experience working with other difficulties in life as a healthcare professional. As a health care professional I worked in the NHS for 22 years in varying roles that included management and strategic roles, associate lecturing, adult safeguarding and teaching as a NMC registered general nurse. I have worked as UKCP accredited therapist for over ten years, three years of which were in the NHS in a mental health setting. I have a particular interest and experience in working with adults who have experienced trauma and/or highly stressful situations in their working life or in the armed forces. From my time in the NHS, volunteer counselling services and private practice, I have enjoyed working with a diverse group of people from many walks of life.
